- Adelaide and Charles lived on a farm 2 ? miles southwest of Morrison, MO and were very successful farmers. He owned and operated a threshing rig. Charles played the guitar and French harp at school socials.
After Charles death, the boys continued farming. They were the first to have a combine and running water in a farm home in that area. In May 1949 Adelaide moved to Morrison and still resides there. She has 26 grandchildren, all of them and her 5 sons having been baptized in Assumption Church. They all live within a 3-mile radius and it looks as if they have the whole town sewed up. Medard has a Grade A. Dairy, Urban is Rural Mail Carrier, Myron raises Feed Grain and hogs, Omer works for M.F.A. , Alban owns a Hardware and Lumber Store. Out of 4 CCD teachers at church, 3 are Rosts. [1]
