Was appointed superintendent of the State Hospital No. 3, at Nevada, MO., where he devoted twelve years of his life to the unfortunate inmates under his care. Has now retired to private life to look after the many investments of himself and wife, being among the wealthiest holders of property in that section of the State. No issue.
