- My great-grandfather, B.F. Pettus, was in the real estate business with your relative, William Mace Fewel (12/4/1859-11/24/1934) whom my mother just adored. She would sit on his lap and (this was before they discovered she couldn't see well) stare at his diamond stickpin which he was never without. His wife, Lelia Brame Fewel (6/1867-10/1961), became a dear friend of Frank (Cora) and my grandmother. They always referred to her as our "double cousin." I loved her dearly.
